Richard Orlinski has been the best-selling contemporary French artist in the world since 2015. He began his artistic career in 2004 and created his first artwork, a bright red resin crocodile, which quickly became an iconic piece in the sculptor’s animal bestiary.
The artist draws his inspiration from pop culture, everyday objects, and popular culture. Very quickly, Richard Orlinski developed new sculptures, often animals, all symbolizing freedom, power, and passion. The result is vibrant works with pop colors and a faceted style that have traveled around the world.
Very early on, exhibiting his often spectacular large-scale works in unusual outdoor locations became his trademark. With nearly 3 million followers on Instagram, Richard Orlinski has built a strong community of enthusiasts and collectors who are deeply engaged with his work.
Job Description
Galeries Orlinski is looking for Art Sales Advisors for its gallery dedicated to the famous French artist Richard Orlinski, located in Paris.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and providing clear and accurate information while delivering a high level of service
- Offering an exceptional and luxurious sales experience
- Providing high-quality customer service by following up with each client regarding delivery steps, administrative tasks, and feedback on their gallery experience
- Achieving sales targets set by management
- Being comfortable selling high-value artworks
- Managing client relationships and building strong connections with high-end clientele
- Handling commercial and administrative follow-up related to the gallery’s activity
- Supporting the internal organization of the gallery (light artwork handling may occasionally be required)
- Actively participating in the organization of events in collaboration with the team and the marketing department
- Contributing to the daily maintenance and presentation of the gallery
Who Are We Looking For?
You hold a degree from a business school or a background in art or sales, and you are trained and comfortable with sales techniques, with at least 2 years of sales experience in a luxury environment or within the art industry.

- A challenge-driven mindset and the ability to make proactive suggestions to improve gallery performance
- Strong interest in the art market and the luxury environment
- Excellent presentation skills
- Motivated, dynamic, rigorous, positive, and responsible personality
- Strong adaptability and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) are essential
- A strong desire to work and grow within a team and a company with strong development potential
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic computer skills are strongly recommended
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Knowledge of another foreign language is highly appreciated
