Beyond the Galleries: Where Art Meets Everyday Life

On the French Riviera, in Saint-Laurent-du-Var near Nice, Richard Orlinski’s monumental sculptures take over CAP3000’s CORSO wing. A white Standing Bear, a Mick Blue Lion and an Orlinski Red Wild Kong invite an unexpected encounter with art in everyday life.

The Standing Bear’s upright stance, the Lion’s majesty and the Wild Kong’s power each bring a distinctive presence. At this scale, sculpture becomes a physical experience: we look up, move closer, step back. Its facets reveal themselves as we move, while its volumes reshape our perception of the surrounding architecture.

This is also the exhibition’s strength: reaching those who had not come looking for art. During a casual stroll, the works catch the eye, spark curiosity and stir emotion. A spontaneous moment, open to everyone, that may inspire a deeper exploration of the artist’s world.
