David Bowie, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga… Markus Klinko has photographed some of the biggest names in music and pop culture. Now, Richard Orlinski steps in front of his lens for a large-scale portrait on display at our Paris gallery.
For over thirty years, the photographer has explored the intersection of portraiture, fashion and contemporary art. His approach goes far beyond simply capturing a likeness: he explores how a personality becomes an icon, drawing on glamour, power and mythology.

FROM DAVID BOWIE TO RICHARD ORLINSKI
For this portrait, Markus Klinko drew inspiration from his work with David Bowie, particularly his celebrated photographs featuring the singer alongside wolves.
The connection feels especially meaningful in Richard Orlinski’s universe, where wild animals have become a defining part of his artistic identity. Strength, instinct and the powerful presence of animals create a natural link between their two worlds.
This collaboration brings together two artists who, each in their own way, explore symbols of power and the visual language of pop culture.
